Movie number 4! Dawn of the dead (2004)

Hey sp711!

My movie number 4 is Dawn of the Dead (2004), George A. Romero. I am a freak of zombie movies and I love George A Romero! His movies are amazing! I really enjoy this kind of movies and with the new make ups and special effects are just a MIND BLOWER! Just like Sp711!

This movie is a remake form the one 1978, which is amazing, but this one is pretty cool! Because now the zombies RUN!!!!

Since this is a zombie movie it is very hard to choose something for my digital story! But this is SP711! so should try our best and follow our creativity to the next level! So my sentence number 4 will be:

"Our characters have to take refuge in a mega store, where they get stuck and have to stay for long time, while the outside is getting more and more dangerous" Also I would love to put a quote that I love from zombie movies "When there is no more place in hell, The dead will walk the earth!"

Movie number 3! Rocky 6 (2006)!

Hey Guys!

Sorry for my late post! I should have done it last night.. but i was working in my video project so I decided to make the post this morning!

The movie I watched is Rocky 6 (2006), a lot of people didnt like this movie or thought that Stalone was too old.. I actually really like this movie and I am very happy that Stallone doesnt follow what society says and does what he really likes.. people is very jelous of his physic and just try  to excuse themselves..
 

Well for me the best of rocky movies is their quotes and how useful are in life.. I really like stalone quotes and how he express them..

So from this movie I am gonna take a quote: (Better ear it from himself)

"The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get it and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done! Now if you know what you're worth then go out and get what you're worth. I am very thankful to Stallone for this quotes.. It inspires me in my down moments..

So I would make that my main character is moved/ said this quote that he really believe in..

Video Project PREVIEW!!

Hey Guys! SP711 How r u doing??

As i mentioned in the previous post this class in a mind blower! I have been having so many ideas of projects that I got super lost! I know a lot of softwares etc (a lot of them forgot but it is always good to refresh some stuff).. So I have been thinking for long time in projects softwares etc.. So finally I said:

" THIS CLASS IS A REAL MIND BLOWER!!!!" so I decided to express my feeling...

Finally I choose Adobe After effects.. It is a very hard professional software.. I didnt use for 5 years or so.. It was hard to do it.. took me so long.. also I did not have good camera to get good footage! Hope that it will be fixed at School with Otto equipment!..

Basically What u have to do if you want to do a project like this one.. is first get good footage.. After with the program basically you need to have good mask in order to have both people in the same place and the shooting  bllod etc.. U have to do it with photoshop one by one or try to get some footage from movies etc.. What i did is get it from demolitionfilms!

If you want to no further about this program please feel free to comment and I will be more than happy to explain.. but is very complicated to do it in a post.. I can do some video for people interested!

Movie number 2! Equilibrium 2002!

Hey Sp711! Hope all of you had a great day and everyone is working hard in their projects!

Today I have been working very hard in my video project.. I was reviewing some software that I used to use when I was back in engineering.. I never became profesional but I liked to try new software so at that time I could master this programs.. Right now I have to restart from 0 I dont remember anything.. but as it is usual with software it just takes a little time and it is easy to refresh! The name of the software are surprise since are not so famous (as far as I saw in ds106 website)

Well this post is  about my second movie! The tittle is Equilibrium 2002, played by Christian Bale, which is one of my favorite actors eventhough people tend to hate him due to his famous video screaming! See in youtube! I know about this movie because my roomate recommended to me! It has a really cool story and makes you think a lot about our society! Please check this movie!

I love a lot of points about this movie! but I will make my story more interesting so I will focus in interesting details! I love the fightings and in the story they created a special martial art for fighting with guns! based in probabylities!

Movie Number 1! The Adjustment Bureau 2011!

Goodnight story telling mates!

This is the start of my project with movies! I m very excited about this project and I hope it will make a good story that everyone can enjoy! At least I m pretty sure i will enjoy the process!

The first movie I have watched is The Adjustment Bureau (2011) playing Mat Damon. I actually really liked the movie, eventhough all my roomates felt a sleep while watching it! This is one of these movies that you get (legally) but you dont really know whats about.. I love to get movies without know exactly whats about and finally get the surprise!

I dont want to explain any detail about the movie! I dont want to exploit anything!

New Project Idea! Written Story telling

Hey Sp711 mates!

Yesterday I got a new idea in how make a new digital story telling.. I love watching movies and almost everyday I watch several movies.. Each movie as something very special.. Maybe location, Line, character, general story... So my idea is:

Basically I will watch a movie each day for the next week and I will take one thing that I love or that i think that is special for each movie (for instance one the location, other the main character, other the story line, other a good quote and so on)..

Each day I will choose randomly what I think is the best and I will make a post about it ending the post with the line.

After the week I will put together all the lines that I got from all movies and all together will make a random story. I believe that it can be very interesting If i can pick up an interesting point of each movie!

Finally also I will try to make a photshop mixing all the lines in one movie poster!

What you guys think?

Different language Different personality?

Today is the Hottest day I ever Had in Tokyo and I loved it!

This post is about an interesting phenomenom that happens to some people that speaks multiple language. Since our class is very diverse and everyone speak different language, I would like to ask if this phenomenon happens to you.

The phenomenon is basically that depens on the language that you speak you have different personality. For instnace if you speak english you act in a different way that if you speak Japanese.



In my personal life it happens all the time, when I speak japanese normally I become very respectul and I tried not to be loud, I act more politely and I even bow more often. On the other hand when I speak english I tend to be way more louder talk about different topics and dont care that much about people around me. And on the top of that when I speak spanish I act more funny and my necesity for party start right in the moment!!!!

All this happens without even noticed it that much! What u guys think?

How important are grades for you?

Hey Guys!

These last days I have been talking to some people regarding the importance of our grades and how they will affect our future lifes!

It is very funny in how teachers and schools said "Oh, dont worry about your grade you are here to learn" ... So my question is: Why there is GPA minimum to get into the university??? Why there are grades if we dont have to worry about them???

Another funny comment I have hear is "B+ is a good grade you should be proud". Good grade? how good? because with a B+ average I cannot get into any good MBA...

How about how grades work?

For instance how can you grade art without being subjective? grading based in effort? So one guy who have work for 10 hours in a paint and Picasso did same in 1 min.. One get A and Picasso F.. Who is better artist?

This link explain how works art grading. Even this link is very helpful it raise a lot of different questions.. that comes to subjectivity grading..

I would like people share their experiences and their concerns regarding this issues..

Also it could be interesting in how you guys want to be grade in this Class SP711! Since we hare a MOOC class and we all have very different backgrouds

Change of proposal freedom of mind

Hello people!

My previous post I was thinking in doing a story telling using gifts and explaining a funny story. My mind has change (like always) I love to go side by side and change what I wanna do.

As you know I believe that freedom must be the main right of everyone. Freedom of education and information is one of my main concers and I believe that in our society we do not have them.

My pals at Sp711 and me, we believe in sharing information and that everyone deserve the right to learn or share. So my story is about this topic.

I choose a very simple tool that I believe that is very interesting. I saw it randomly on google and I wanted to use it as a digital tool to share my thoughts.

I went to ... http://makeagif.com/  Its a super easy tool where we can create sooo much cool stuff and transmit our feeling.. I decided to use this tool for my first story..
